We’ve had 3 1/2 beautiful days in Savannah, in large part due to Bruce and Nancy acting as our personal tour guides! They graciously welcomed us to stay at their condo association’s dock. Having dockside electricity has been fantastic these cold nights. Savannah is such a great city full of gorgeous, historic homes, buildings and squares. Highlights: touring the Owens-Thomas House and Slave Quarters; the Telfair Museum; the Jepson Center; walking down WJones St and many of the squares and streets downtown; the riverfront; Colonial Park Cemetery and Bonaventure Cemetery; Tybee Island. Nancy is so knowledgeable, she could have her own tour guide business!

It must have hit north of us, we are in Florida now. Phew! Though it was 51 and overcast when we started out this morning at dawn, by 10:00 the sun was out. We slowly peeled off layers as it reached high 60’s by the afternoon. Yay! 😉

Hi Sharon -apologies for the very late reply. Our plan is to go to the Bahamas in early February, the southern islands. We’ll likely sail there for 8-10 weeks, then back to South Hutchinson Island for a month or more before returning by car to Bflo.
